Being forty-ish and a wife and mom (of 4-legged creatures), I try to create my own version of a modern woman who embraces life's changes. Your stage of life should be reflected in your style.

Contrived is never good! Styles that are overworked will rarely be your favorites. I love working with my hands and rarely use a brush when styling.

Hair's My Story After an education in art and graphic design, I found that I most enjoyed using people's hair as my canvas. I develop hair styles based on clients' facial shapes, features, and texture. I have done hair my entire life and I love what I do.
Idol Worship
I love Victoria Beckham's and Reese Witherspoon's hair. They appear to be polar opposites, but have great hair in common. Victoria's stylist always takes her facial features into consideration when cutting new styles. Reese looks the best as a blonde, and her stylist uses all the right tones. I also admire another thing they have in common - balancing their families and careers seamlessly.
Season of Life
I spend most of my time balancing my roles of mom, wife, and career woman. I have a passion to be creative through my career as a stylist, as well as being a great mother and wife. I don't want to have to choose one role.
I'm Not Into
Knowing when change in hair (as in life) is necessary, but not having the stength or courage to follow through. I am committed to making the right changes no matter how large or small. Are you?
